Jaida Garrison is a Virginia-based artist whose journey into the arts began with a passion for storytelling and a fascination with human connection. Drawing on her experiences and curiosity, she creates portraiture that blends subtle surrealism with a dark, intriguing edge. Her work celebrates individuality, embracing the beauty in both the ordinary and the unconventional, while exploring themes of transformation and identity through diverse media. Her evocative portraits invite viewers to reflect on the interplay between beauty and mystery, challenging perceptions and uncovering the unique narratives within each subject.
In addition to her art practice, Jaida is an actress, model, and art event coordinator, curating monthly gatherings that foster creativity and community.
